OK, which one of us axes our topic?

Rockford Files, not an auspicious start but at least it's out of the way early.

Personally I'm hoping for Sweet's Little Willy, or maybe Third Rate Romance by Amazing Rhythm Aces.

"My music bores me once again."  Not the ideal sentiment for your new single, sonny.  Who's the Mungo he's reading about in SoHo?  Mungo Jerry?  The guy from Blazing Saddles?

OK, what the hell is this? I swear I don't think I've EVER heard this, in 1975 or since. Kinda like it, even tho the singer kinda reminds me of Jack Johnson.

well, "Little Willy" is '73 but the ARA's would be nice.

OMGWTFLOL!!! Brian Protheroe, "Pinball"  -- a breakout and a song I didn't think ANYONE remembered. A Brit hit that went nowhere over here.

Well after this you won't hear from me much for a week.  Leaving in 2 hours for another whirlwind business trip, 4 days in Texas & Mexico, back for one day, and then a day & a half in Seattle.

Not a bad set for a send off though!

I was listening to Third Rate this morning. Just got a neat little power thingy for the car that plays the iPod thru the radio.

That song did nothing for me, and I'm afraid neither does this "why should I care" tune.  A dangerously recurring theme.  I'm going to pathetically hope for something from Carole King's Really Rosie soundtrack, like "Avenue P" or "Alligators All Around" or "Pierre."

Ack, I believe you're right. I think I was confusing it with Magic by Pilot, which was '75.

Hmmmm, My Little Town--is it a Katrina yet? Treading very close if it's not.

BOS to S&G's "My Little Town," which I never thought to apply to Southeast Asia, but there you have it.
