CBGBs in the house! Blondie, and now the Ramones, I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend! (Also the earliest occurrence ever per the DB, but only by a year on this one.)
Let's get right to it.

BOS #3, and 2nd punk bustout in a row, "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend".

But that tune we've been waiting for is no longer in the Upcoming window.  Ya think Annalisa changed her mind?

ETA:  Nope, here it is.  BOS #4 The Modern Lovers!

BOS2 X-Offender! The earliest occurrence of a Blondie tune by at least two years. Nicely done, AL!

indeed, a fab bustout -- except for one or 2 appearances on A-to-Z, and maybe as a bonus track, it's rare this ever appears anywhere.

BOS4 "Roadrunner", tho' it's not the version I prefer.

You wanted to hear "Jonuthun Richmuhh 'n th' Moduhn Luvuhhs," eh?

Wonder how many bay area kids first knew this as a Greg Kihn song? I think it was kind of a regional hit around 78 or 79 or so.

there's the version from Beserkeley Chartbusters (the better one, IMHO, a huge NY FM turntable hit) and there's this one which I think is from their own LP.

We've heard half a dozen songs off FLAE before--but never this one!

And another BOS for BOZ while we're at it. It's Over, a rarity but not quite a bustout.
Let's get right to it.

HAH!!! Rollee-coaster pronunciation triple-JINX!! (Even if we did all spell it differently.)

Another first: Roll-er-Coaster.
Let's get right to it.
