Another awesome bustout.

Here's one Dave didn't get around to. Meat Pups, Backwater. Their only excursion onto the charts, iirc. Not exactly the style they became known for, but catchy nonetheless. Wonder if we'll hear any Rancid?

Not a fave of mine, but props as always for an ATBB.  Rancid would rule, but when AL played Broooce's "All That Heaven Will Allow" Tuesday I thought: the Mavericks' fine cover version would be nice to hear in a  '94 set.

Betting on Weezer, tho'.

Wow, Liz Phair. Loved her first record, most everything since has left me kinda cold. It'd be great if AL played Flower, but only if she didn't really want her job anymore. Or was riding herd on the bleep button.
Let's get right to it.

BOS to Meat Puppets!  My pop station played it all the time in 94...haven't heard it since, save for a few spins here and there on alt.

And who are these girls singing about a supernova?  I don't think I've heard it before, but it's pretty good, so I'll BOS2 it.

Wow...first the Meat Puppets and then Urge Overkill.  This is like Hits 106 (the old pop station I was referring to) memory lane for me today.  VHM

for SF types, these are songs KFOG ignored in '94, but Live 105 was all over 'em.

BOS #3 Mazzy Star, another big Live 105 tune that KFOG never played.

Yep, KWOD, the now-departed alt-rock station I was listening to in Sacto was all over these songs as well.

Re the Mazzy Star, I think Heather Sandoval is living in Berkeley now. Or she was a couple years ago anyway. This could be a nearly all-bustout set at the rate we're going.

sorry, that's a snoozer for me, even if it is another ATBB.  (we should start calling ATBB's "Annalisas"!)

Last Goodbye was Dave's song of choice in the Jeff Buckley catalog. So at most this is a 9-way bustout.
