I'm listening to KABL on-line, first time in ages (they finally fixed their player). Curious as to what they're up to, since I can no longer get them over-the-air now that they're in Walnut Creek. I've been spoiled by "fabulous 690" in LA, which is quite a hip mix --they'll play ANYBODY doing standards, so you'll get Ella Fitzgerald and Robbie Williams in the same segment.  KABL is a bit more geriatric.

Back to CG in time for MJ's "You are Not Alone", one of his mid-'90s ballads and actually quite tolerable.  A #1 in the UK (natch) but I don't recall what it did over here, if anything.

Shows ya how out-of-touch with the pop Top 40 I was in '95.
