Kind of ironic for Annalisa to be playing I Kissed A Girl, eh?
Why?  I suspect I'm missing some important datum here.

HM for Folk Implosion.  Definitely a different flavored sort of set.

She got married last year to a guy, but was playign for the other team as far as we knew the whole time before that.  Alicat even asked her face to face about it, and Annalisa seemed as surprised as anyone that she wound up married to a guy.

"I Know" this was a major Dave Katrina.  Never even heard the follow-up single to this at the time, assuming there was one - it surprised me that she completely disappeared after a Top 10 crossover hit like this.

I, er, know that she did a nice cover of the Beatles' "Blackbird".

Per a conversation Mshray had with Irish Greg, Annalisa used to bat for the other team, to borrow a Seinfeld-ism. However, in the interview she did with Ben Fong-Torres, she revealed she's recently gotten married, (or at least engaged), to a guy.
Let's get right to it.

er, that was Batman not Bond, dude.

not just a Katrina...up till today there have only been TWO sets from 1995 that DIDN'T include this song.

I have this CD, and can't recall that there's anythign else really as good on it.

Here's one I haven't heard much at all since probably 97 or 98. But that doesn't earn it any BOS cred. File with the Foo Fighters under Live 105 staple.
Let's get right to it.

Some pretty good loudness from Pearl Jam, and a less-played track for sure.

At this rate, all that's missing are Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and Soundgarden.  Maybe Alice in Chains too.

But I would have rather gone in the direction of "As I Lay Me Down" and "The House of Stone and Light."  Anyone else remember Martin Page?

BOS "Corduroy".  This was a great record if you were into PJ, but the clear beginning of their disregard for making themselves radio friendly ever again.

(the fluke #2 hit from a fan club record notwithstanding)

I suppose Will Ferrell was inevitable given the teaser.

Indeed this is very KFOG/Live 105-oriented; some pop would work -- but "Buddy Holly" is from '94, AL.

BOS for Weezer.  Most representative of what I was listening to at the time on KOME.

Buddy Holly makes his '95 debut. I think Dave always played this in '94. Probably the closest to a BOS I'll get unless she plays one of the three bands I mentioned earlier.
Let's get right to it.

Not sure I'd agree entirely - I thought they were aiming for a hit with "Who You Are."

PS: I just checked Billboard: they charted 6 (!) singles before "Last Kiss"!  I don't remember "Tremor Christ," "I Got Id," "Long Road," or "Given to Fly," but I do dig "Who You Are" and "Better Man."
