Crapton lays down Sally yet again. She must be awfully tired by now.

The only woman more tired than Sally is "Black Betty". Bam-a-LAM!

 Rod Stewart - Hot Legs
Eric Clapton - Lay Down Sally
 Ram Jam - Black Betty
 Steve Miller - Swingtown
Electric Light Orchestra - Sweet Talking Woman
Alan Parsons Project - I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You
Sanford & Townsend - Smoke From a Distant Fire
Lynyrd Skynyrd - You Got That Right
 Muddy Waters - Mannish Boy
Elvis Costello - Watching the Detectives

Pretty predictable set. But tomorrow: a set of covers, for some reason.

Muddy Waters, predictable? I beg to differ!

I'm outta here today. We're selling goat cheese (from an existing farm that we're partnering with) at the local farmers' market in McMinnville every Thursday starting today, so I'm gonna be scarce on Thursdays from now til October. Hope ya get a good one!

hearing Chicago Blues in Chicago didn't surprise me, I guess.

There's gotta be a way to do a Stevie Nicks tie-in on your goat cheese, dude.

Wishing you all sorts of success!  Partner with a winery!  Or a cracker maker.

As Dave Morey has said on more than one occasion, "Sometimes it's all about the cheese."

Good luck, Jim!  (Do you do any sheep cheeses?  love that...)

Thanks for all the positive vibes, guys. There's a good chance we'll be working with several of the many wineries in this area (they start salivating any time we meet someone from the local wine industry). And Tinka, we may well be doing some sheep's milk cheese. Met a guy a few months ago who has dairy sheep and wants a new source for their milk. Sheep cheese is amazing (as you obviously know), so we'd love to have a couple different ones on our cheese board. (Ever tried Berkswell? It's a Brit sheep's milk cheese, and is AMAZING.)
Let's get right to it.
