The Drive, 5/20/09: 1968!
« on: May 20, 2009, 07:53:15 AM »
yahoo!

No matter how many times I hear Bob's montage with the Partridge Family clip into the Stones ("And this... is Keith") it still makes me laugh.

BOS TOTHK The Bob Seger System, ramblin' 'n' gamblin'.

OMGWTFLOL-of-the-Week: the Cryan' Shames cover of "Up on the Roof".  BOS(5)FRA.  Bob (a member of the band) is the only one we'll ever hear playing this one.  Quite nice.

I was thinking the same thing, until Up On The Roof!

So Bob was in that band, the Cryan Shames?  He didn't mention anything on the backsell...   I just Checked the cryan shames' and it seems Bob is latter day member (from 2002 -2007, from what I can tell from their site)

see Bob's bio on the Drive site:

"When Bob bought his first Cryan' Shames record at 15, he never dreamed he'd join the band at 51"
