This is really quite a set.  BOS for Talking Heads' "Houses in Motion".

This album is great, their peak.  thanks eno!

Fully agree. This was on my turntable at least once a day during my last year or so of college.

Chris and Tina would probably debate your gratitude to Eno, but he and Byrne sure did come up with a pretty fine piece of music, even at the exclusion of the rest of the band.

WOS for Carter's wildly misguided foreign policy choice.  Hurts me to hear that.

Surprised to see that this is the biggest K contender of the set. 12 appearances in the DB, outdistancing even the APP by 5 plays.
Let's get right to it.

totally.  he's a great man, a good person, smart, but his presidency is fascinating in the way it hot so many snags: with Congress and the energy policy, this Olympics debacle...

Another BOS for rarity, the late Mr. Zevon's Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School. Yep, this was one of Dave's more remarkable 1980 efforts.

I knew there was a reason I'm sick of it!  We heard it a couple of '80 trips ago, iirc.

vinyl, ansolutely,  there was as much clicking and popping in the opening notes as there was in all of The Zombies She's Not There.  (I think I've used that before...)

I don't know much Zevon, including this track.  I should dig in.  So Dave's not back with new sets yet, is he?

and he won't be -- see the "Regarding Dave" thread under "Forum Feedback" (we even had a visit from the man himself, as "Michigan Dave").
