There's a place in my heart for you - that's the Bottom Line:

ah, the memories I have of that place!

BOS6 (!) Miss Ross she da Boss.  Urth, did you really say this set was "meh"? It's one of Dave's best 1980 excursions, IMHO.

Bro, I respect your opinion, but I just don't have any big connection with most of those songs. Glad you dug it!
Let's get right to it.

Holy mismatched fonts, Batman!

Not sure why, but that just totally cracked me up.  Must be the stress.

But of the two I'll take being stressed over being depressed.  Last week was depressing.  This week is stressful but at least it seems to be going somewhere.

BOS4 the late great Mr. Hartman.  Relight it, bitch!

Great tune.  Not so well done when covered in the '90s by Take That with Lulu, alas.

is that Loleatta Holloway? Or Martha Wash?

Take That was a British boy-band, unsuccessful in the States; Robbie Williams was a member.

No, I meant singing with Hartman -- brassy black woman, but no idea who.

Nobody answered my question, so I fished out my Dan Hartman best-of: that's indeed Loleatta Holloway singing on "Relight My Fire".
