Running on Empty, indeed. Hope this gets better as it progresses, Bob.

Steve Miller's at the Rocky Mountain Stake.

He may be ripping off Joe Walsh, but Walsh got that riff from Sly's "Sex Machine" (which is NOT the JB tune).

HA, good one!  Unfortunately, this is the closest we'll get to Joe Walsh this year, unless Bob puts on something for which he was a hired hand.  How Ya Doin'?

indeed!  When I worked at ABC, Walsh was our go-to-guy to call whenever a musician died, because he'd played with EVERYBODY.  In fact, I specifically recall that we interviewed him when Andy Gibb died.

BOS BJ -- anything that makes fun of Catholicism is fine by me.  "Only the Good Die Young"... but you're still around, Billy. Hrm.

yikes, this set is making no waves.    ELO was nice, but I heard enough of BJ trying to get a bj from some shiksa.

I happen to like Margaritaville -- I'm sure I'm in the minority.  (I'm no Parrothead, tho.)

eta: Margaritas are what you make with sub-par tequila.  :)

Jackson Browne - Running on Empty
Steve Miller - The Stake
Electric Light Orchestra - Turn to Stone
Billy Joel - Only the Good Die Young
Ted Nugent - Cat Scratch Fever
Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville
Heart - Love Alive
Foreigner - Cold as Ice
Randy Newman - Short People
Fleetwood Mac - Don't Stop

pretty "meh", overall.   Bob's intern misspelled the Buffett hit as "margaretville" LOL!

Mike, I'll see your BOS for both Heart and Randy Newman, and raise you a HM for F-Mac.

I suppose you can't escape '77 without Rumours.
