the good news: it's 1968

the bad news: this probably means I'm not getting my 1969 Soul Patrol B-Day request on Monday. Which I guess doesn't surprise me (Dave hates me, I think) but is disappointing nonetheless.

I always get confused, also the title of the Love song "My Love She Come in Colors."

The title is "She's a Rainbow," and the song was indeed inspired by Love's "She Comes in Colors."  I need to have them both on a mix.

BOS to the Montanas, "You've Got to Be Loved."  What a joyous bit of bubblegum sunshine.  Especially the little bicycle-bell jingle.  First time I heard this I assumed it was the Cowsills.

VHM to the Beach Boys: "Do It Again" is in my top 10 of their songs.  (I've never compiled such a list, but it would start with "God Only Knows" and "Darlin'" and proceed from there.

Wow, "Love Power" followed by the magnificent "Alone Again Or."  If I were making a best-of-'68 mix it would sound a lot like this.  Sorry everyone else had to bail on the Clubhouse today.

So I'm sitting at home working on my class reunion book page and groovin' on 10at10.  A really representative set I think.  (Not that I was there - I was 4).  But what I really want to know is...
Joe, have you been watching the American version of "The Office"?  It's just as painful to watch as the BBC version, except it isn't funny.
