if ya want Rod's body and ya think he's sexy... you're probably a 56-year-old woman.

Ack!  WOS.  Bailed before the chorus.  What's on the Sound?

it's "album side Wednesday", so no Earth day set from Larry either.

This song redeems almost any '79 set:

Me, I do the only thing that still makes sense to me...

Stimulating.
Let's get right to it.

Overall BOS to Communique. This is the closest we get to a rarity in this set--twice in the DB, including this instance.

well, at least it's underplayed Supertramp.

I'd have thought so too, but the DB says otherwise. Gone Hollywood is underplayed in terms of KFOG's daily playlist, but it's the leader among the 6 songs off Breakfast In America with 8 appearances. Take The Long Way Home is second with six, Just Another Nervous Wreck has four plays, and BIA, Goodbye Stranger and The Logical Song tie with three apiece.

Not at all what I'd have guessed either.
Let's get right to it.

VHM John Stewart, whom many mistook for Harry Chapin when "Gold" hit Top 40 radio.

BOS3, the late John Stewart, getting a helping hand from Stevie and Lindsay spinning Gold into, uh, gold.
Let's get right to it.

Finishing off with some o' that Punk Rock Music. BOS4, Talking Heads introducing a little-known Al Green song to a new group of fans. Bet the Reverend's offering plate was a bit heavier that year.
