The hot streak started in NY and Chicago is abandoned. We're in the 90s here. Feh.

Let's get right to it.

Suppose it could be (it's been only 2 1/2 weeks since our last 1990 visit) but I wouldn't take it that personally.

Paging LA?

So is there a LA (the Sound?) 10@10 forum equivalent?

Btw, this one last aired as a classic on August 17, 2005. Mostly a big ol' K-fest.

meaning, here? We have LA threads under the "Regional" topic.  But The Sound has their own Message Board on their website:

Paranoid thought: Is the recent preponderance of late-'80s/early-'90s just coincidental, or is it on purpose?  And could the fact that Dave's return is "still being discussed" be related to a desire on management's part to seriously curtail '60s-and-early-'70s sets? (I can't imagine Dave would enjoy a steady diet of '87 and '89 any more than we would.) Just wondering.

I know nobody here anymore, but I'm listening to the recorded 1990 - what movie was it?

" How do you know he's still alive? I don't know, but I believe it still is"
"before he came down here, it never snowed, and afterwards, it did" ...

Edward Scissorhands?
Yup - a little gogoling proved me right

I think that's it.  The Dave "sitch" is still undecided, so they're keeping w the currently sets b/c that's the AAA way.

I would not be surprised. Dave, being that he's no longer a full-time employee, probably doesn't wield as much power as he did when he was in the building every day and skipper of their marquee morning show as well as 10@10. So the theory that management might want him to refocus 10@10 to match what they perceive to be their target demo (late 70s to early 90s HS grads) could be leading to some internal strife. They didn't really say how long it was going to be until Dave returned to action from Michigan, but it's reaching the point where the audience is going to start drifting away if they don't get him back soon (note our own dalliances with the folks in LA).

Maybe we should ask Ben Fong-Torres to look into it? KFOG management is more likely to respond to him than they are to e-mail from any of us.
Let's get right to it.
