Black Crowes are a non-guilty dis-pleasure for me. I'm going back to WLNG.

Hello, hello, hello.

I'm cool with this one. Nirvana's ear candy for now, and a few other goodies coming up.

Sodden thought: I like Foo Fighters and all, but losing Dave Grohl as a drummer is a price I'm not sure I'm happy paying for that. Dude really kicks butt on the skins.

Glad somebody's enjoying. Personally, I cannot recall a single '92 set that I ever wanted to heard twice.

T Heads are cool.  The  Nirvana, I'll always associate with '91 as I heard it during my fall semester freshman year (and really, is there a better year that one can be introduced to "Smells Like Teen Spirit"?).

BOS to REM's "Sidewinder."  I love the part where he starts chuckling and has to spit out the line.

That's what makes horse races. Being as I have a choice of 92 or 92, I'm gonna stick with Dave's version again.

BOS2 (and proxy of Shray) for Lifetime Piling Up, and VHM for REM's Sidewinder.
Let's get right to it.

indeed, what were the odds of that happening, given that LA did '89 yesterday?

The Sound is playing the Lemonheads' "Mrs Robinson" as we speak.

Perhaps Haley and Dave Benson at KFOG have a bet as to who can come up with a better set, head to head, each day?

VHM Tom Cochran, another Shray fave, iirc. Hope he's tuned in someplace--I'm thinking he'd be digging this set.

Btw, in case anyone wants to peek, this set was new on April 3, 2007, and repeated as a classic on August 15, 2008.

Caroline was a bustout in this set the first time it appeared, as are the two songs that will follow it, and none have appeared in any other set save for the classic replay. Just sayin'.

if only the JS's "Caroline" would bust out in a '74 set!

Btw, that was Concrete Blonde's Caroline.

Another BOS for Diz Knee Land. Any song that advocates flipping off someone named George Bush is aces with me.

I heard most of it, got out of a customer mtg at 10:10.

another nifty Dave segue, even.  The protester expressing her frustration with the gov't repsonse to the AIDS crisis undoubtedly "flipped off President George" also.
