One of VERY few songs that I adore and Mike dislikes: "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

OK, once again: I don't dislike it. (indeed, I thought it was you who criticized the lyrics) But it IS rather overplayed.

sometimes Gaz don't ... type .. right.

BWHAHAHA! Depends on how many bowls he's had (and I don't mean bananas & strawberries).

VHM Doobs, cheatin' the hangman. Used to make a great segue with "Gallows Pole".

I'm gonna guess Dwight Twilley.

Without looking I'd have to agree.  That's a huge Katrina in 1975.

I am an anti-CHRIST!  Kudos on that one.

now here's a band *I* adore that Gaz hates... 10cc. VHM, Tho' I'd've preferred "One Night in Paris" or "Life is a Minestrone".

Your instincts are not wrong, guys. Twilley ignites in a few more songs.

Meanwhile, BOS to Blackmail, about the only 10cc song Dave ever plays in 75, even though I'm Not In Love was the bigger hit.

ETA: Just checked: my instincts are right on that one. Nine appearances in the DB for Blackmail, but only three for I'm Not In Love.

See my comment above. There was a time (in the mid-'90s) when "One Night In Paris" was a near-Katrina,too. but it's been years since Dave's played it, and he's NEVER played "...Minestrone".

Meanwhile, BOS2 to Fox on the Run, which made its only '75 appearance in the DB in this set. (It also popped up in a 76 set w-a-a-a-a-y back in 2002.)
Let's get right to it.

Which makes one wonder why Slade couldn't crack the U.S. charts with songs that sounded exactly like this.

HM to Leon Russell, for sliding through his entire register when he sings a single syllable.
