...meanwhile Life's Being Good to Joe Walsh down in LA.

That translates to '78 iirc.
Let's get right to it.

I'm giving '85 a chance.  Hm to Prince.

2 sets have this as the TotHK

And this is the better of the two (no Bryan Adams in this one). Orig airdate Nov. 8, 2006.
Let's get right to it.

Joe Walsh down in LA.

and Broooce in the USA!

OK, i realize the LP was still on the charts in '85, but this is a borderline cheat.

This is definitely the better of the two, circa 7/9/06.  The other one looks like this:

1.) Prince - Raspberry Beret
2.) Stevie Ray Vaughan - Say What
3.) Don Henley - Sunset Grill
4.) Marrillion - Lavender
5.) Bryan Ferry - Don't Stop the Dance
6.) Big Audio Dynamite - e=mC2
7.) Cock Robin - When Your Heart is Weak
8.) Firm - Radioactive
9.) Huey Lewis & The News - Power of Love
10.) Bryan Adams - Run to You

I'm sticking around for tunes 3 & 5, at least. (this set is from 11/8/06)

yeah, unless this was an On This Date set, that song peaked in 1984 at #9.

on second glance, the Bryan Ferry song (which shows up in both of these sets) didn't chart, so an OTD set is ruled out.

onetime Katrina, now a delight to hear after a long absence: Scritti Politti. BOS. One of the best LPs of that year.

agreed, agreed, and agreed!

If Dave ever actually returns I want to request "Wood Beez" in an '85 set.
