that's scary. not that i listen to kfog anyway. but still...they can't own everything!

Sure they can!  The only hope for music lovers lies in the fact that Clear Channel's not returned the expected shareholder profits in recent quarters IIRC.  There are legal limits to what percentage of a radio market one entity is allowed to own, but Clear Channel has found ways to skirt these limits (usually by purchasing stations on the down-low and keeping the station owners around as a puppet-shell).
