Something Dave has used as TotHK thrice in the Db.

ETA: it's always a good day when you get to use the word 'thrice'.   :) :) :)

Yikes!  If this isn't acompeltely new set, then we have the following choices for tune #2:

Prefab Sprout - "Appetite"
Cockrobin - "When Your Heart Is Weak"
Paul Young - "Every Time You Go Away"
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

ooo! BOS to Paul Young covering H&O.  I'm gonna guess we get either "Kayleigh" (hope not) or "Endicott" (hope so).

But of course, we get the one that's already been a classic once. First airing was 12/6/06, repeated on May 21 of last year.
Let's get right to it.

okay, this is from Dec of 2006, and after we get through losing our meat here it's a pretty good set, no other Katrina's & some real rarities, although there is one cringer.

BOS #1, Dire Straits.  Still a great album, hard to believe it will be 25 yrs old next year.

I read once that something like 30% of people who bought their first CD player also bought this disc at the same time.

I read once that something like 30% of people who bought their first CD player also bought this disc at the same time.

I'd believe that. It had the good timing to have been released not long before CD players started getting a big push from the record companies and electronic manufacturers, it had a number of hits on it, and it was the first fully digital album to be released (DDD), so it sounded really good. It was the first to sell a million copies on CD.
