Indeed, "1 2 3..." is closer to 1910 Fruitgum Co than, say, "Sugar on Sunday" or "Tighter Tighter".

Totally agree.  I have the RCG cover on a Dick Bartley comp.  Shockingly, it charted higher than Orpheus (#63 vs #80, or something like that).

There's lots of Ms Bell on YouTube, but astoundingly, not this song.
