After seeing Kristofferson, JCM, Roseanne Cash, Norah Jones and Elvis C do a round-robin of "Me & Bobby McGee" on Elvis's TV show last nite, Janis' version seems even less interesting than usual.

it's Casey K's weekend chart revisited as we get "Black Dog" followed by "Without You"; the Nilsson still gets a BOS(3), it's truly one of the most gorgeous ballads ever.

Macca on Colbert was kind of a wreck.  The stilted interaction was very Space Ghost-ish.

Great description -- Paul seemed vaguely stoned.  Missed the beginning (I was watching the Ted Haggard doc on HBO) but I surmise it was a new segment called "Better Know a Beatle"? If so, there's only one segment left in that series...
