Wow, I missed this the first time, but I have been to the Saigon Hospital in downtown Saigon.

I just looked at the thread for the original day, and the reason I don't remember this clip is that I apparently missed the whole set (although I think I caught the second half of it that Saturday).

Rick Danko singing "I said 'Now wait a minute, Chester,' " ALWAYS makes me giggle for some reason.

Me too!

thought I was the only one.  Always makes me flash on the Chester the Molester cartoons in Hustler from my college days.

Now there's a name you don't hear too often anymore--people just don't name their kids names like Chester or Marvin. It's all "Jaden" and "Dylan" and "Dakota." 'Cause they want to be 'unique.' Right.
Let's get right to it.

Don't even GET me started!  The idea that "Madison" is one of the most-popular names for girls is utterly astounding.

Ha!  that's a great one... Now I'll have another reference point for that line, but I was thinking more of his vocal tone: it sounds like he's about to burst into tears.

nice work on that "Hey Jude" edit, Dave. But it's still a Beatle tune that tends to make me change the station and come back 7 mins later.

Why not!?  Go ahead and get started!  The first little girl I saw named Madison was about 2 in 1991 (daughter of a co-worker), so she'd be maybe 20 now.  I bet when she was younger she thought her name was so unique (justifiably), and now she must scratch her head just as much as Mike.

And now it's come full circle.  My little boys have known a couple of Madisons, and so when they learned what the capital of Wisconsin was, they thought *that* was silly, a city with a girl's name.
