watching the speech, digging the energy, hoping against hopelessness that the people will demand non-partisan behavior

Did ya see Jindal's rebuttal? What an oily, unctious character he is. They left Olbermann's mic on and you could hear him mutter "oh jeez..." or something similar as Jindal walked into view.  LOL!

the comment was "Oh God", and now they think it was Chris Matthews who uttered it.  You can vote for who you think it is on Huffington Post.

Jindal has been touted by the Republicans ever since Obama's victory seemed likely.  Their thinking being that if the time is right for a president of color, then we better get one ourselves.

This is NTM: Jindal's "exorcism" story, courtesy Young Turks:

Just saw Stevie performing for Obama and Co. and Barack states afterward that had he and Michele not agreed on their like for Stevie W., they might never have dated and married. Stevie apparently added to the essence of their courtship.

Not yet having had my first cup of morning coffee, I initially read "Stevie" as Stevie Nicks.  Which was disconcerting.   ???

I thought the same, even while drinking my first cup of coffee!

that must explain why the morning show was talking about this when I got in the car this morning.  They were playing a Stevie song, and then Fogheads were calling about music that brought them together with their significant others.

Now it can be told: Queen Elizabeth & Prince Albert are actually hobbits!

Seriously, it looks as if they used the same kind of camera tricks that made Elijah Wood look so much smaller than Ian McKellen in the LotR movies.

Chris Matthews was making jokes that this must have been the midget versions of the Queen and Duke!

Prince Albert? That's a little personal, don't you think? (Btw, it's Prince Philip. Albert was Queen Victoria's husband.)
Let's get right to it.

Apparently Obama gave the Queen an I-Pod loaded with old show tunes on it. Think she'll listen to it?? Or will one of the young Princes get it and they erase it, putting rock music on it.

Kumar goes to Washington! Actor Kal Penn goes to work for the Obama administration. (Which is why -- SPOILER ALERT! -- his character on House was killed off this week.)

I was wondering why they wrote him out of the show last night.  Thought they did it for shock value alone.
