BOS4 the other MJ, Michael Johnson, the lovely "Bluer Than Blue".

This is a Narada for me--I don't have any recollection of hearing this before. (Of course, I was smoking a fair amount of dope in '78 so that might partially explain it, but still...)
Let's get right to it.

Take a chance on Mike to miss an opportunity to give us foil-wrapped Swedes.  Nope, not gonna happen!

just as a Katrina newsclip is a "Sally", a Katrina image post is now an "ABBAFoil"

Life without Dave has been bluer than blue.  Well sorta anyway.

a #12 single in the fall of the year. So depending where you were, your local Top 40 station may or may not have played it (it was BIG on "Mellow Rock" formats).

I guess he won't be back in time for an Inauguration Set. Hope he's back in Feb -- we've got a Friday the 13th, and one of those in Feb means "Love Songs From Hell"!

It's a "Don't Look Back" twin-spin--sorta. Boston's version led the set, and now we're hearing the Peter Tosh/Mick Jagger "Don't Look Back" as the bonus. Wonder if the Foghead had that in mind when she picked?

Fogheads generally don't have anything in their minds  ;)

hee hee...!

I would love to see what the radio listening habits are for folks on this list.  (Of course, we know Mike's already: no one documents like he does! ;)  )  Gaz and Urth are out of town, but I'm just curious to see how high KFOG ranks for those still in the area.  This is outside of the 10@10s, of course.

or is there already such a survey on here ?

I pretty much listen to KFOG all day at work, but more as background noise than active listening, unless something relatively interesting comes on (which isn't often).  Sometimes I switch to Pandora on the web.

At home I don't listen to the radio much at all, and will use my ipod on shuffle if I'm listening to music.  Have KFOG, the Bone and KFOX (which isn't kfox, but I don't know the real call letters) on the car raido, but I don't drive very much these days, and will put a cd on if the radio stations aren't cooperating.

I spend at least 2 hrs/day in the car, and used to listen pretty much exclusively to KFOG in the a.m.  Switch between KFOG, KFOX (KUFX are the real call letters), Live 105 & Channel 104.9 & lately KKIQ (which is in Livermore, best local traffic for the Tri-Valleys).  Sometimes KKSF for jazz or 102.1 for Classical.  Lately listening more to my MP3 player.

At home the radio isn't on much, unless I'm in the garage working on projects.  Then it's usually KFOG, and I don't really do any flipping of channels.  And since I've been doing weekend projects almost constantly for a year (between fixing up & moving out of my old house & into the new one) it means I heard enough of Webster to last me.

My listening has changed markedly since leaving SF in June, but before that time I really only consistently listened to KFOG while I was eating breakfast, from about 7:50 to about 8:25 every morning. Outside of 10@10 I either listened to other internet streams or my local iTunes collection. And then when in the car during the evenings and on weekends, I'd either listen to KALX, KUSF, KALW (love Minds Over Matter on Sunday eves), KPFA, or occasionally KFOG if I couldn't find anything worth listening to on any of the other stations. KPIG's AM signal from Oakland never came in consistently enough in my neighborhood for them to become a regular listening habit, sadly enough.
Let's get right to it.

It's a poster of Barack Obama giving a BOS vote to "Fantasy."  Sorry it threw off security.
