We're not quite in 10-way-tie territory, thx to the Q and APP, but this has been a pretty strong set for '77. Also a short one: this is #8, iirc, and it's not 10:30 yet.

Bill Bartlett was the leader of the Lemon Pipers.  Both basic OHW's but the LP's hit #1, whereas RJ only hit #18.
