another uber-Trina (not that they're scarce in '89): "Yellow Moon".  The yellow moon must be near the dog star...

Dave has backed off on "Yellow Moon" some, this was once one of the biggest Katrinas out there (Dave played this in literally every other set for 2 1/2 yrs running 2002-2004).  Now only 5th time in 4 yrs, and '89 is coming up more often.

is this the anniv of his death? I recall it was in December; I had just bought an Orbison Greatest Hits LP to get "Pretty Paper" for a Xmas mixtape I was making and he died the next day -- spooky.
From Wiki:
Orbison headed down to Nashville on December 4th, and on Tuesday, December 6th, he spent time shopping for model airplane parts and flying them, but during the afternoon he complained of chest pains. He was visiting with Jean Sheperd when he collapsed after excusing himself to go to the washroom. He was rushed by ambulance to a hospital in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and was declared dead at 11:54 p.m. on December 6, 1988. He had suffered a massive heart attack.
On December 15, Orbison was buried in an unmarked grave at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.

AAAAAAAAAAACKK!  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  WOS to uber-Trina "Love Shack".

Okay but this leads to a good My 3 Songs variant: yesterday Annalisa played this & then The Temptations "Psychedelic Shack".  Can you guess the 3rd song?  (Hint: it didn't have Shack in the title, only the lyrics)

and btw, how cool was it to hear "Psychedelic Shack" at 3:40 yesterday?
Up on Cripple Creek?

I figured someone would posit a Shaq atack guess. Good one!

heh, yeah, but Shaq making an appearance on KFOG is about as likely as Jazn Mraz winning a grammy!....

Oh, wait.... nevermind.

Donnie has carved out a minor film career, have any of the others amounted to anything?

Hmmm, I'd say it's in the realm of possibility.  Who's us, and where's this going down?

Sounds like Bruuuuuce.  Very "Tunnel of Love"-esque.  Wonder if there's a producer in common.
