LAWD! BOS7 and proxy of cairo! Lucy, you jus' so damn BAD!!!(if this is the looong version, we may indeed set a record)
overall proxy's to Alicat, Davefish, Yessongs, POC, Geoff, and anyone else who wasn't here the past 45 mintues. Man! What a Set!
Haha, more people recognized Laura Nyro here than in all of KFOG's phone-in listeners!
I probably should get some work done, but any post-set listening for anyone?

Major league BOS.An aside to this, I just finished reading "There's Always Magic In the Air: The Bomp and Brilliance of the Brill Building Era" by Ken Emerson. A little dry at times but still an interesting read, but it follows the whole Brill Building/1650 Broadway cast of songwriters from their youth all the way to about 1970, with lots of info on Aldon Music (Don Kirshner) and Hill and Range (another big publisher), too. Man the research that must have gone into this is just amazing. Leiber and Stoller, Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, Carole King and Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich, Bacharach and David, Sedaka and Greenfield, they're all here. Mike, Gaz, I particularly recomment this to both of you if you haven't read it already.http://www.amazon.com/Always-Magic-Air-Brilliance-Building/dp/0143037773/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1223661604&sr=1-2
