WOS to a truly horrendous record by the most famous Puerto Rican hairdresser in history. and it's the looong version -- Dave's chiffon is wet.

It's better if you sing the chorus as "Ted Danson."

Hey guys, this is a classic classic.  No spoilers yet, but get ready to give just about every remaining tune a BOS vote.  Some real rarites are in store.

OK, "BTR" for the umpteenth time was not what I had in mind...

and Disc-O-Texx was DEFINITELY not what i had in mind.  WOS to a truly horrendous record by the most famous Puerto Rican hairdresser in history. Dave's chiffon is wet.

Agreed on Disc-O-Dreck, but I never tire of BTR, partially, I think, because I "discovered" Bruce so late in life.

YEA, Disco Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes featuring the incomparable Sir Monti Rock III.  Here's the full 7-min version (Parts 1 & 2):

I love disco more than Gaz & Alicat combined, but it's an awful record by a talentless amateur. It isn't even well-recorded. Bad on so many levels.  Merv Griffin has a lot to answer for.

I think I hear Mr. "Yammo Be There" singing background in this, correct?  (that's Michael McDonald, of course)
Yes, '75 is when he and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter were with the Dan, then they both went over to the Doobies for awhile.

Skunk is now a self-taught missile defense expert (seriously) who is more than happy to give talks and testimony when called upon from his hawkish Fed Gov't friends.

didn't he run for Congress or something?

Not according to his wikipedia bio--are you thinking of the Smithereens' Pat DiNizio, another rock&roll republican?

However, I did learn that Jeff Baxter is a cowriter of the King of the Hill theme.

BOSX+1 Topaz, and the great Aynsley Dunbar on drums.
Let's get right to it.

It exists to gives us something to fill up a whole page of posts about!

But here's the real treat!  Topaz = BOS overall.

So is Topaz prog rock or jazz fusion? It kinda treads both sides of the line. (And there's still three songs to go!)

And yeah, Sir Monti really cashed in with Get Dancin'--one has to wonder who blew who to get that record made?
