I know this welcome-home from 'Til Tuesday is beloved here, but it bores me to tears.

who the h-e-double-hockey-sticks is this?
I can't believe you've never heard this. A HUGE hit.
not a huge hit on KFOG.  And I may have heard it, I like Prince, but I find this too quirky to enjoy.  Just part of the problems of being an old fart.
But you weren't as old in '87 when this was a hit (were you?)  ;)
well, I was 37 in 87, so is that too old for that kind of music?  Not necessarily I know, but all the quirky falsetto stuff is just too contrived for me.

I'll BOS "Coming Up Close," it always hits me like an unexpected punch.

"This is GLOBAL and its feeding on itself" (so let's just party)!  BOS INXS

Is this Dave's first reference to our current economic catastrophe?  Things are pretty scary these days. :o

Here's his second reference.  Dow goin' down, "Wall Street's Black Monday."

BOS3 "Shelter", and for the 2nd time this week I ask "why hasn't Maria McKee had an Aimee Mann-style career?"

"End of the World" -- tee hee, Dave.

Especially good question when Dave plays them in the same set.

Solid VHM for BoDeans.

We survived '87, we'll get thru current downturn too.  Just don't panic (now back away from that highrise office window).  Did they get those barriers on the Golden Gate Bridge in time for all this?

BOS2 to the forgotten of the 4 Tango in the Night hit singles: "Seven Wonders."  Bustout?

thanks for answering my question.  Def a bustout, methinks -- 2 in one set, amazing.  VHMFRA, goatty-throatty tho' it is.

This is Dave's "bestest" '87 set in ages.

BONUS TRACK:  Grateful Dead – Throwing Stones

Three reasons this was Dave's best 1987 set in a dog's age:

1. No Dead
2. No Crowded House
3. No Robbie Nevil
