The Allman Bros are doing a Beacon gig for their 40th anniversary.  It's supposed to be dedicated to Duane Allman, and is supposed to have some special guests.  The only confirmation is Dickie Betts won't be there!  Boy, he really must have burned some bridges!

I usually like Chuck Taylor, but holy crow is he blowing a lot of sunshine up Lionel Richie's ass.  Geesh.  (I haven't heard the record; indeed, I had no idea the album or single existed until reading this.  Will report back when I check it out.)

But Linda Perry is the only one who seems to have any success after her original band. The rest of 'em seem to be milking it, heading for the casino/county fair circuit.
Let's get right to it.

Oh my.

OK, he's a couple months past 59, so he's no youngster, but he'd look a helluva lot younger if he lost the white beard, and reined in the dreads a bit.
Let's get right to it.
