Damn! rare Rare Earth. BOS2FRA.

And may I say this has been one of Dave's finest weeks in a while (tho' I suspect tomorrow's "classic" will be of the late-'80s/early-'90s variety).

Mine is working, but then I didn't re-launch it.

Isn't that Grand Funk?  Railroad, that is.

hrm. You may be right -- the beginning's rather similar to "Born To wander".  And the lead singer's voices are also similar, something I'd never thought about before.

BOS4 "Beach Baby" -- I just love songs about Calif written by Brits who've never been here.

Good old Tony Burrows.  I didn't know he was British.  He's responsible for two of my wife's favorite songs that irritate me.  Can ya guess the other one?

More like a turkey or guilty pleasure I'd say.  The production on this record is really quite amazing.  It's a huge arrangement.

Not by my definition, I call this total ear candy. YMMV.

Btw, per the Shraytabase this is the first time this has shown up in a set since March of 2006. Far too long...

to some people, no doubt.  ;) I don't remember it actually showing up in one of Dave's HFH sets, tho'.  Quite a brilliant production, IMHO.
