Thanks -- I've bookmarked you now.

BTW, speaking of blogs, I quite accidentally came across this odd Catholic rocker's blog, and he was trashing Vin Scelsa for his recent show about gay marriage. So of course I felt compelled to comment:

I loves Freddie, but Dave's gone to the "Good Company" well a few too many.

He's got a lot of time on his hands.  Selective Bible interpretation is fun!  (PS: What is "natural law"?)

I liked your response: it's very high road.
And I've bookmarked Gazoo's blog, too.

Interesting group of people on this board, I must say.  I'm glad I found it.

Not too bad of a set. Surprised no one mentioned the Stones tune--that'd be my BOS1, along with the Tubes and Kansas (fra).
Let's get right to it.

I arrived late and missed it, but it's never been one of my fave Stones tunes -- if I want Mick-goes-disco, I prefer "Miss You".  Indeed, other than "Hand of Fate" and "Memory Motel", it's not a great LP IMHO (my dislike of "Fool To Cry" has been well-documented here).

"It's just a travesty" that mshray is missing this. proxy of same.

Is this Kansas?  New to me.

Hell yeah that was Kansas.  Thanks for the proxy.  I can still clearly remember getting out of school promptly one winter afternoon and sloggin through the sluch with my friend John Harrison to catch the bus over to Peaches Records (which had just opened) to buy this LP.

No such thing as lousy Prog Rock!  (but Asia doesn't count, super group arena prog sucks)

Despite what the KFOG website says (above), Dave's backannounce clearly said the BOS winner was the Tubes.
