Where is everybody?

a dog needs a home
a shelter
from pigs on the wing

Where is everybody?

I'm in, and a big BOS for "Pale Shelter", my favorite TFF tune.

Where is everybody?

Running a lot of in-house errands, some related to the move, some related to a trip I'm taking later this week to Rehoboth Beach, DE.  (I'll be gone Thursday through Saturday.)

BOS to Adam Ant!  In text-language, that'd be "dsprt but not srs."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

I like the Tom Petty song, and I think I hear some of the inspiration for Patty Smyth's "The Warrior".
"Play the tape machine, make the toast and tea"

VHM A Flock Of Seagulls, this has been a very zeitgeist-ful set for me.

VHM from me as well.  We heard this one in this week's Casey '80s countdown.  (Which, Mark, you might have found a sledgehammerish set.)

At age 10, I missed the meaning of this in both this song and "She Bop."

I had a phone call & missed the REM tune (belated BOS#3) and so couldn't figure your reference out until the back announce.

Jeez, Dave plays this one all the time, but has never once played "Antmusic" .

07/14/2008 - Monday! A great time in...1983!!

1.  Psychedelic Furs - Love My Way
2.  Tears For Fears - Pale Shelter
3.  Michael Jackson - Beat It
4.  Eurythmics - Love is a Stranger
5.  Thomas Dolby - Europa & the Pirate Twins
6.  Adam Ant - Desperate...But Not Serious (BEST OF SET!!)
7.  Genesis - It's Gonna Get Better
8.  Tom Petty - Change of Heart
9.  REM - Catapult
10.  Flock of Seagulls - Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)

BONUS TRACK:  Dave Edmunds - Slipping Away

Glad to see I didn't miss anything truly earth-shattering (I'd've BOS'd the Crock o'Siegals, tho').
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

Still have T-shirt from my visit to Dogfish Head pub in Rehoboth Beach a few years ago, good times!
