The Peak, 7/14/08: it was 1976
« on: July 14, 2008, 07:53:18 AM »
and a fine '76 set it was...

Electric Light Orchestra Livin' Thing
Blondie X-Offender
Jackson Browne The Pretender
Elvin Bishop Group Struttin' My Stuff
Blue Oyster Cult (Don't Fear) The Reaper
Billy Joel Summer, Highland Falls
Ramones I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend
Queen You're My Best Friend
Linda Ronstadt Someone to Lay Down Beside Me
Tom Waits Step Right Up
Clash I Fought The Law

rare Elvin Bishop, great Ramones and Ronstadt, the fabulous "Step Right Up"... wow.  And as always, I wish Dave would play "X-Offender" half as often as Rob does.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

WIsh I'd woken up in time for this.  My BOS to "Summer, Highland Falls," which was mentioned in a story on BJ over the weekend (he's playing the final Shea Stadium concert).
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
