The song is a stunning rip of Born to Run, woudn't ya say?  Well, all right.  It's got a bunch of Byrds and Who in it too.

I never caught the BTR similarity, but it's a Byrds thing for me, mostly -- the Great 12-string Guitar Revival of '79! (Shoes, Records, the Searchers comeback...)
