Or so Dave said early this morning. Guess this means a '60s "classic" tomorrow?

ELO & the Dan. I'm guessing Dave's on pre-holiday autopilot, unless there was something "special" in the intro (which I missed).  Anything approaching a rarity/bustout will be a pleasant surprise.

I still prefer the original; less is sometimes more.

So if I remember right, Fleetwood Mac did a version of this.  But you only hear Christine McVie in the backing vocals on the Bob Welch solo version, which makes this the superior version.

The year and setlist were suggested by a listener.
And just last week I gave this Bob Welch "French Kiss" album a spin, good one if you haven't heard it in awhile.

This is some long-time 10@10 foghead's definitive freshman year of High school set.

Not true!  Both versions are wonderful! (for different reasons)

Isn't this (Imaginary Lovers by Atlanta Rhythm Section) the one that when played fast sounded like Stevie Nicks?

YES! I'd long forgotten that.

This is our 2nd '78 set in 2 weeks; but the previous one was in April, if I'm reading correctly -- and in that one we did indeed hear "Take a Ch-ch-chan-chance"
