That Partridge Family/"...and THIS is KEITH!" clip never fails to amuse me.  And now we "Drift Away" with Mistah Gray.

My net connection is hanging on by a string - either there are issues with Time Warner Cable, or (more likely) my computer's taking umbrage with the ongoing severe heat here.  (I can't have AC - the apartment's wiring is too old to be taxed like that. I can't even run the microwave and the toaster at the same time.)

Yikes.  At the risk of sounding like a Johnny Carson bit... How hot IS it?

Bob read that wrong, didn't he? "Roberto Clemente was elected to the Baseball HoF" 11 weeks AFTER his death, not 11 weeks before.  VHM Mah-vin, gettin' it on with all those sensitive people.

Slip of the tongue from Bob: Roberto Clemente was inducted into the baseball HOF 11 weeks *after* his death.

I can't believe there are still buildings like that -- I thought there was a law that mandated upgrading your wiring. Back in the '70s I had problems like that in Glendale. If I had my A/C on, and the tenant downstairs used her toaster or electric broiler --poof! we'd blow a fuse.

Bob opened with Dave's '73 set-closer from 2 weeks ago... and he just misses closing with Dave's TOTHK, Brownsville Station -- but this is song 9.  "One MO'!"

and speaking of 'mo's... the major was a lady suffragette, Jet! VHM Macca.
