The Drive, 05/26/08: It's 1981 for M-Day

J. Geils' "Centerfold" kicked us off.  Now Seger's "Tryin' to Live My Life Without You," which Dave Marsh claims Seger recorded as an apology on behalf of the Eagles for ripping the song off for "The Long Run."  Not sure I hear all that.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Tonight's the night Dennis DeYoung will make history, as sure as dogs can fly.  Well, the dog called Styx certainly flew for a while there.

PS: This isn't "Best of Times" but rather its reprise that leaps into "Rockin' the Paradise."

BOS to Winwood's "While You See a Chance"; HM to H&O's "No Can Do."
