Agreed, and I would have added #9 as well. It's only in the DB once--this very set.

Last week Rob closed out his 1972 set with the original by, in his words, "ELO precursor The Move".  I remember looking it up and noting that it was a Roy Wood composition, not Jeff Lynne.

I missed this tour--decided to catch 'em next time, only there wasn't one. Oops.

And to join the two threads, there's a well-circulated Little Feat bootleg from Winterland circa '75 or so where they were opening for ELO. OK, kind of a stretch, but still...

Speaking of our mutual admiration of certain types of novels, I just finished Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay.  One hell of a fine book, which I highly recommend.  It's an urban fantasy, drenched in the history of Provence.  If you've never read Kay, this might be a good place to start.
