BOS Wiretrain.  And that's Hellos, plural.

Local group on 415 Records, iirc.

Is the TH a nod from Dave to Rauschenberg?

"Watch out...touch monkey..."

Hadn't thought of that, but it could be.
Let's get right to it.

Thanks, i see it's been played before but it's a total Narada to me -- and I was heavily into New Wave in '83. Just not a NYC record, I guess.

I was up in Seattle in college, and I definitely heard this on the late-lamented KYYX, along with all the other 415 acts: Red Rockers, Translator, & of course Romeo Void.

I always had a liking for this one--big drums, big guitars (sounding like bagpipes), big hook, what's not to like? '83 was a great year for radio singles, thanks to the rise of Rock of the 80s (via MTV, natch).
Let's get right to it.

My love for Big Country knows no bounds, if only Dave or anyone else would play anything off of their subsequent albums.  I can see that they might be an acquired taste, but if you like them on tihs record, then you'll like every single track on their Greatest Hits compilation (especially the cuts from their '87 album).  But none of the 10@10's seem to know this.

Wow!  First time I've ever heard Dave cut into 10@10 with a news break!  Yay for the gays!

Yay indeed.  I thought it was gonna be something bad.  And BOS2 for Synchronicity I.
ETA: And II as well.  I didn't think they were sequential on the album  :o
ETAA: They aren't.  Odd to twin-spin 'em this way.

It's good news... technically.  But there's gonna be an amendment on the ballot in Nov to reverse this, and that ain't so good.
