I doubt we'll hear "Watching the Clothes" until some future HFH 'When Good Artists Go Bad' set.  But I love "Thumbelina" & often have wished for it.

BOS #4 to JJ, "YCGWYWTYKWYW", the 4th song so far that has 2 or fewer prior appeances in the Db.  Quite exemplary for an 80's set on a Monday from Dave.

ETA: love the interplay between the horns and the bass on this.  Graham Maby rules!

I was thinking much the same thing -- look up "filler" in the dictionary and you'll find "Watching the Clothes".  "Thumbelina" rocks.

I was going to hope for H&O, but that Style Council track scratched the itch nicely.  BOS2 to that, 3 to Joe Jackson, 4 to Thompson Twins, justifying Mshray's crystal ball.

screeching to a halt with "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" (sorry Yessongs!), but at least it isn't "Leave It" which is the real Katrina. 

Surprisingly enough, Dave hasn't played this for 3 1/2 yrs!

Ending on a down note, the oft-heard Owner of a Lonely Heart. (Trevor Rabin did this band no favors, outside of a few million albums sold.) Still a pretty great set considering the year. Thumbs up.

ETA: I guess it just seems oft-heard, since it's still in the KFOG rotation. But I stand by my estimation of Trevor Rabin.

Just noticed that the BB tune does appear once in the DB, nearly four years ago--July 23 of '04. Still quite the rarity--and sharing the BOS vote at that. Methinks this will be heard more often.

Yeah, I was gonna add that, just because Dave hasn't played it for years, doesn't mean I haven't heard it more than I needed to in the meantime.
