Phil's taking it all too hard. Yeah, being a gazillionaire, breaking up with your wife via fax... it's hard.

cute seg: Kathleen Turner seeking help from Michael Douglas in Romancing the Stone into "A Girl in Trouble".  Tee Hee.

Of course, if you look like Ms Turner, you'll be rescued a lot faster than if you look like the fat chick from Romeo Void.

kudos on a slightly-lesserly-played SRV, "Scuttle Buttin'". Kinda sounds like a gay euphemism.  "Dude, have you been scuttle buttin' again?"

Caught the end of SRV, but my BOS goes to the Smiths clip and the song that followed it (the name of which I'm blanking on right now--but it's an across-the-board bustout, I believe).
Let's get right to it.

post-set: first time I'm hearing the new Coldplay, I think. I'm sure we'll be sick-to-death of it by Memorial Day.

Second time I've heard it--this morning. KFOG played it during the 8am hour. So I'm sure you're right about its ascendance in the rotation.
Let's get right to it.

instant BOS to Gen'l Public's TOTHK, "Tenderness".

Dave Wakeling did this with the Beat at their free summer show in SJ last June.  Cool memory.
