I'm pretty confident I've never heard this before.  Sounds like Peter Himmelman channeling Bryan Ferry.

They're threatening us with a Fire Drill today -- I won't be upset if it happens during this set...

Very astute--it was indeed Peter Himmelman. The Bryan Ferry part is subjective. :)

I can only take credit for the subjective part.  I googled "245 days"  ;D

"Road to Hell" is a great song, but it's dead to me now, as is FYC's "Good Thing".

AAAAACK! The mutha of '89 Katrinas. Especially annoying after having heard "Johnny Come Home" earlier...

ETA: this is "Good Thing"'s sixteenth appearance per the shraytabase. (all '89 sets except for one VT). Ay Caramba!

and "So Alive" is getting there too, for me. How sad this is -- seriously. What was up in Dave's life that year that his recollection is so limited, when most years are overflowing with possibilities?

I don't recognize this John Waite song, but any Waite is bad Waite in my book, unless it's the Babys.
