Is "Woo Hoo Brandy" something like "Cabo Wabo Tequila"?

speaking of "woo hoo": anyone notice that WaMu is using "Whoo Hoo" as their new ad slogan -- why the odd spelling? do FOX and Matt Groening have "Woo Hoo" trademarked?

Yes, I did see a banner stretched across a local WaMu branch.  Guess its a play on "WaMu" without saying "Yahooooo".  Eventually FOX will own all businesses!

Bonus: Foghead chooses Jimmy Cliff's "Wonderful World, Beautiful People" over Todd's "Couldn't I Just Tell You" -- except the Cliff tune is from 1970. Sheesh, somebody get Annlisa a copy of Whitburn, stat!

Heard that--and couldn't help notice that she was giggling as she said it. (For more reasons than one, no doubt.)

Damn the foghead for choosing Jimmy Cliff instead of the superb Couldn't I Just Tell You by Todd Rundgren.
Let's get right to it.

Just realized Dave missed an opportunity to memorialize Hurricane Smith by playing Oh Babe What Would You Say. Alas...

I noticed that, and wondered the same thing.
My totally unsubstatiated guess was that their marketing dept. was worried about offending customers with 'Woo' for a last name.

wow, it's 10:15 and we're barely at song 3.

Not sure how long the Nilsson song is, but I think Dialogue runs something like 8 minutes. And now we've got the Dead (under the sobriquet of Mr. Garcia) doin' The Wheel, which could be kind of long, too.

Proxy of Geoff 'n Alicat.

If the thunder don't get ya then the lightnin' will!
wished I could've heard this instead of the 9th graders!  It really is Jerry (not GD) as he plays all instruments except drums.

Wow, I didn't know that. I thought this album was similar to Weir's Ace in that the backing musicians were essentially the Dead, even tho the albums were billed as solo works. Ya learn something every day.

you are correct.  Ace is actually the Dead, but Garcia is just Garcia w/Billy on drums.
