Yes, but remember, we got no fewer than *three* 1972 sets between December 21 and January 25.

and we're agreed on the BOS-ness of Jump Into the Fire (the l-o-o-o-o-o-ng version!).
Let's get right to it.

You know, I've always liked Harry, and I felt this was an innovative song, but I just decided I don't like it.  Just a little too unpleasant and repetitive.  Oh well.

"don't it make you angry, when a war is draggin' on?"

(well, unless you're John McCain -- he gets angry about other things. LOTS of other things.)

VHM Chicago, a bit of a frequent flier at this point.  We can make it hap--

BOS for JG and The Wheel.  I like the beginning, but it really seems out of place with the rest of the song.  Maybe it represents a transition from the hectic world to the bliss that is Jerry...

Not sure how long the Nilsson song is, but I think Dialogue runs something like 8 minutes. And now we've got the Dead (under the sobriquet of Mr. Garcia) doin' The Wheel, which could be kind of long, too.

Proxy of Geoff 'n Alicat.

Oy vey! Jim Croce's Operator--one of the great singles of a year that was full of them.

And I think this is the vinyl.

ETA: And it was a bustout--we've heard I Got a Name and Bad Bad Leroy Brown, both in '73, but Operator is a first-timer.
