I love Jellyfish, but come on, Dave -- think outside the box.

I won't complain.  Nor about Jane's Addiction, even though they're in the box too.

VHM Percy, "Hurting Kind (I got my eyes on You)".

Actually, this has been pretty good since "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" into Lenny's "Let Love Rule" and then that "Packets" song ...

aaack, glad I'm missing this. That woulda been my WOS -- Dave's taste in rap is positively criminal, IMHO.

yeah, the weak link.  but I think you'd be into the song playing now.  I don't know who it is, but my guess is Steve Earle. "Giving it Up?"

turns out it was Hothouse Flowers, making their 2nd appearance in 3 days.

03/19/2008 - Wednesday! An awesome set from...1990!!

1.  Jellyfish - The King is Half Undressed
2.  Jane's Addiction - Been Caught Stealing
3.  Michael Penn - This & That
4.  Rembrandts - Burning Timber
5.  Jeff Healey - While My Guitar Gently Weeps (BEST OF SET!!)
6.  Lenny Kravitz - Let Love Rule
7.  Digital Underground - Packet Man
8.  Robert Plant - Hurting Kind
9.  Hothouse Flowers - Give it Up
10.  Technotronic - Pump Up the Jam

BONUS TRACK:  Depeche Mode - Policy of Truth

Well, I guess Dave only plays bustouts in '90s sets when I'm not listening -- OMGWTFLOL kudos on "Pump up The Jam" and here's to more of such in the future!

ETA: not only is that NOT a bustout - it's been played *twice* before (in 2002 and 2005) and I have NO recollection of either appearance. But the Jeff Healey was a bustout. Helps to be dead, I guess.

Well then you should ask Rod & his other pals to banter about anyone you think is under-represented...like maybe Don Was?

I'm certainly into it on the replay.  But wow, its chorus sounds like "Love Is in the Air"!
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
