The link crapped out on me several times.  It's gotten harder to catch full eps lately, with so many stations having gone all-Christmas.

Bummer -- I've found that CKRU's new player has worked better for me than the old one, but I miss the "now playing" feature -- helpful when they spin Canuck obscurities.

This Peter Cetera/Amy Grant duet is pure EVIL.
Eeek.  This Miami Sound Machine song blows.  Well, no shocker there.  ::)

Finally a BOS - Madge's "Open Your Heart".  Good video too.

Haaay1 goes to Nancy Martinez.  Wait...she's Canadian?  French Canadian???

Bwahahaha!  jeezus freak + jeezus freak = satan.  Coincidence?

VHM Ms Lauper's forgotten "Change of Heart". uh-oh, it's Miami Sound Machine.

BOS1 Madge. "Open Your Heart" is one of my fave 45s of hers.

Nancy Martinez? the golfer?? oh... guess not.  Cheezy synths totally rule!  I feel a "HAAAY" approaching.  Lawd, this is like an explosion in a Casio factory!

I don't remember this Pointers song at all.

Someone's got my numbah!   ;)

"I'll Be Over You" is one of the worst songs ever, I swear.

perhaps she pronounces it "Mar-tee-NAY" :)

BTW the emoticons are no longer animated -- WTF?

BOS2 Daryl Hall, another forgotten gem.

And uber-BOS3 Carly -- she shoulda got an Oscar for THIS, which wasn't even nominated, rather than that crappy Working Girl song.

eeek: WOS Toto

Holee crap!  BOS2 Billy Vera & the Beaters!

Holee crap, pt.2!  BOS3, H-2 "You Be Illin'"

WOS2 Kansas.  Why, oh why?

BOS4 "Take Me Home Tonight".  One of the best 80s songs ever.  It's the hungaah!

WOS3 Glass Tiger.  Shoot me in the face.

BOS5 OMD.  Good for them for making it big in the USA.

Indeed, BOS4 from me -- the power of television in 1986 was still something to behold.

OMFG: RUN-DMC. They speak jive!  BOS5 "You Be Illiin'"  -- one more for the AL '86 wish-list.

WOS2 Kansas; always a BOS(6) for Eddie & Ronnie.

sg & I are 3-for-3 on WOSes: Glass Tiger -- WHYYY??

I'd be happier to hear "Wild Wild Life" if it didn't pop up on KFOG 27 times a week. Ditto Timbuk 3

VHM OMD; WOS4 Boston's horrid "Amanda"

Sorry, Billy Ocean: you're much better when you're upbeat than when you're doing sappy ballads.

Hour 3: Madge gets another BOS(7) for "True Blue", oh baby.

You know I love HoJo... don't you? VHM.

Survivor's "Is This Love" is one of their more bearable, pop-oriented outings. HM.

Janet J is in "Control", bitches!  BOS8.

"while we were apart... ah wuz human tew!"  BOS9 Human League in, er, league with Jam & Lewis.

Final "HAAAAY" as I depart: Cameo.

OMFG: pre-Casey, Bob & Doug McKenzie's "12 Days of Xmas" -- ya hoser!

'75 Hour 1: Teddy P wakes us up. Proxy of Alicat. And proxy of shray MTB's "Fire on the Mountain". VHMs from me.

Cheeziest Disco cheese of set (which is saying something): Wing & a Prayer Fife & Drum Corps.

BOS1 AWB's forgotten "School Boy Crush"

in his green metal suit Paul's preparing to shoot up the city with Mademoiselle Kitty.

proxy of Gaz HJF&R's shamelessly sound-alike followup to "Fawwin in Wuv", "Winners and Boozers". VHM the Miracles, makin' mah meter start to rise. Damn tight underwear!

OMGWTFLOL Al Martino's discofied "Volare". BOS2FRA.

BOS3 Al Green's underappreciated "Full of Fire"; BOS4 John Denver's sweet "Fly Away", with lovely ONJ backing vox.

OMG it's Fitz and the Electric Trantrums, "Evil Moneygrabbin' Woman"

Hour 2: Ms Summer goes gold before she even hits the Top 40 -- gay men bought lots of records back in '75.

EWF sanga sanga sanga sanga sawng; Kiss RnR all nite.

I never need to hear "You Sexy Thing" again. VHM Gladys/Pips forgotten "Part Time Love" -- a David Gates compo, iirc.

BOS5 the Isley's "For the Love of You"; BOS6 David Ruffin.

shameless soundalike followup 2: Glen Campbell's "Country Boy (You Got Your Feet in LA)" -- I orig thought he was saying "...got your feet in a lake".  Toni Tenille wants to touch me. Hands off, baby.

Casey tells one of his most moving stories, about Jackie Wilson, who was hospitalized at the time. Good thing a commercial came in between that and "Blind Man in the Bleachers".

The Times of Your Life, indeed: the Island Girl Wants to do Something Freaky to You.

proxy of Gaz, "Convoy". Mercy sakes!

Hour 3: VHM S&G; BOS7 Frankie Valli's disco-tastic remake of "Our Day Will Come", feat Patti Austin.  BOS8 the BeeGees, "Nights on B'way" and BOS9 the foxy "Fox on the Run" making everybody come. Oh really?

Oh irony: Barry M sings "I Write the Songs"... which he didn't write. Jigsaw blows it all sky high, and Miss Ross don't know where she goin' to.

Wait -- Casey sez "Sky High" is from the movie The Dragon Flies --say what?  Turns out its a kung-fu flick featuring one-time James Bond George Lazenby!

'85 Hour 1: Pat, please don't use sex as a  weapon. Seriously. VHM one of her forgotten ones. And speaking of sex-as-a-weapon: Tina's still in the Thunderdome.

OMGWTFLOL: uber-BOS1 Artists United Against Apartheid, "Sun City"!!  Gotta get AL to spin this one, considering 1985 comes up every 3 weeks.

Cute coinkydink: "I'm Your Man" is followed by "You Are My Lady". (no, YOU be the lady...) And both songs sung by big ol' queens.

BOS2 Part-time Stevie -- another from my AL '85 wish-list. Even Giter's requested it!

eeek: WOS1 Night Ranger's "Goodbye". And Stevie returns for an encore: VHM "Go Home".

WOS2 Macca's "Spies Like Us" -- sorry, I know some folks have a soft spot for this one but gawd it's awful.

VHM and proxy of Gaz, Ta Mara and the Seen.

BOS1 from me, too!  Better tune than "We Are the World", IMO. (But nothing beats "Do They Know It's Christmas?"   ;) )

BOS2 Prince Ta Mara and the Seen.  Haaaaay!

Hour 2: Sheena's "Do It For Love" is one I don't remember at all -- VHMFRA.

BOS the Tina half of "It's Only Love". The other half... well...
