BOs2 to "Mother Freedom."  The least Bread-y of Bread's hits.

low-carb Bread.

What's this jazz thing?  Sounds like the Manhattan Transfer with John Phillips arranging.

Dan Hicks/Hot Licks -- and amazingly it's *not* a bustout.

Wow, on top of all that we get my favorite Stones song.

Awesome set, especially coming hard on the heels of Ginger's equally awesome set.

Oy vey! Another bustout, I'm nearly certain--Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, Canned Music.

We're surging into 10-way tie territory if you ask me.

Yeah, most certainly. Dave's taking Ginger's fab 73 set as a serious challenge. It's a 10@10 smackdown!

BOSX+1 Stones, Can't You Hear Me Knockin'

Is it just me or have there been a couple of minor skips in the middle of Mick's guitar solo?

Was it Gaz who was inquiring about Mick Taylor on one of the earlier Stones tracks today?  Here he is at his finest.

Dave's just put this over the top with my adored "L.A. Goodbye."  The version I bought off iTunes was a later re-recording (though to be fair, the vocals on it are very good).

I suspect people were confused by it sounding so dissimilar from "Vehicle."  They should have released it under an assumed name!

Like, The Doobie Bros (I often confuse it with "South City Midnight Lady", which it actually predates). Or Hall & Oates ( who it also came before).
