Simpsons, Futurama creator is 54 today. I didn't realize the Simpsons characters are (mostly) named after his relatives (grandfather: Abe; mom's maiden name: Wiggum).

A few are named after streets in Portland Oregon, too--Flanders, Lovejoy, Powell, Quimby, Kearney, and if a little stretch can be permitted, Burns(ide) is a major east-west thoroughfare.
