I thought Dave said the first few songs were "selected by Fogheads" but "Message to My Girl" is most certainly a DaveFave. I really like it, so no complaints, but let's 'fess up, Dave.

yeah, this wouldn't get anywhere near my top 5 Valentine's songs, although CBB certainly would.  And though it's a guilty displeasure for me,  I can see how "Unchained Melody" would for 98% of humanity*.

*this is without doubt the #1 Most Romantic Song Ever for most people in the greater Chinese world, to which I can attest after many visits to karaoke in China, Hong Kong & Taiwan.

BOS2 "Something" -- the song that finally got people to wake up and discover that George could write great songs too.

earlier this a.m. a caller got Dave to play "Here, There & Everywhere" & I was wondering if it was a Paul or a John song.  Anyone know?

Hah! VHM to Tom Shane's guest spot.

And Mike gets the Crystal Ball award for today.
Let's get right to it.

All Paul.

PS: I'm among the 2% who walk out of the room when "Unchained Melody" comes on.

He has played it in more than one "Love Stinks" set, and I don't know of any other "epic" in that category.

Un. E. Quivocally.  I'd go into a rant about how Ghost was the single worst film ever to receive a Best Pic nom, and they'd just give me that inscrutable nod which means 'barbarians are so difficult to understand'.
