WOS Right Said Fred. Wonder if every band that throws a bit of Third Stone From the Sun into a song pays royalties to the Hendrix estate?
Let's get right to it.

I don't know "3rd Stone," where's the theft?

My least-necessary vote.  At least the RSF guys had a good sense of humor about the flukiness of their hit.  Maybe Dave should be prodded to play the follow-up, "Don't Talk Just Kiss."

No. There's "unnecessary" (because it gets plenty of KFOG play) and then there's "abominable" (RSF).

So what are the official Katrinas in this year? 'cause much as I love k.d.l., she's gotta be in k-territory.

You'd recognize it--its main theme has been borrowed liberally by a number of artists, including Sting, just to name one. From Wikipedia:

Quote
This song, along with "Purple Haze," was frequently covered live by Jaco Pastorius. Part of the guitar chorus melody has been quoted on other records, amongst them The Amboy Dukes ("Baby, Please Don't Go"), Cozy Powell ("Dance With The Devil"), Weather Report ("Slang"), The Allman Brothers ("Mountain Jam"), DEVO (a cover of Hendrix's "Are You Experienced"), and Right Said Fred ("I'm Too Sexy").
Let's get right to it.

Frequent flyer though it is, I still love the melody of "Constant Craving."  (As did the Stones, as we all know ...)

'92 was the year AAA broke--as evidenced by the last couple of songs. Cue the Rembrandts!
